The Texas 88th Legislative Session is just starting to move along. Most committees meeting the week of March 6 are taking invited testimony only and many are doing no more than organizational or housekeeping items.

None of the SREC approved priorities legislation are being taken up this week.

The Ways and Means Committee is taking public comment.

Tuesday 3/7 – The Human Services Committee is taking public comment.

The Insurance Committee is taking public comment.

The Public Education Committee is taking public comment.

The Criminal Jurisprudence Committee is taking public comment.

Wednesday 3/8 – The Agriculture & Livestock Committee is taking public comment.

The Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence Committee is taking public comment.

Thursday 3/9- The Defense & Veteran’s Affairs Committee is taking public comment.

In The Senate:

Tuesday 3/7 – The Business & Commerce Committee is taking public comment.

The Criminal Justice Committee is taking public comment.

Wednesday 3/7 – The Health & Human Services Committee is taking public comment.

The Education Committee is taking public comment.

The Finance Committee is taking public comment.
