The Pregnancy Resource Center in Kerrville has impacted this community with more than 3,000 new babies over the past 10 years, as well as providing material assistance through education to those who may have thought they were not ready to be parents. They have also provided adoption options to those who truly are not ready to become parents.
More than 90% of their clients choose life for their babies.
In the past ten years they have taught thousands of parenting classes, improving the skills of thousands of parents and the lives of many thousands of children in our community.
Currently their biggest need is funds to purchase baby equipment that will be given to clients through our Earn While You Learn program. Last year, mothers and fathers attended 1,249 hours, up 29% from a year ago, of pre-natal and parenting classes, earning more than $50,000 worth of baby equipment such as car seats, strollers, high chairs, Pac n plays, clothing formula, diapers and more.
