DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 16th at 6 PM \nHill Country Preppers Meeting \nEmergency Preparedness involves a lot of different factors. Food\, water\, communications\, and medical training are just a few. One that is often overlooked\, is news about what is going on around you. Part of that news is politics\, and is actually something you can influence through phone calls\, emails\, social media\, and various political organizations\, as well as the voter booth. \nThe recent Texas legislative session produced 17 amendments to the Texas Constitution. The Election to vote on those amendments is November 4\, with early voting starting on October 20. \nIt is your responsibility to be an informed voter\, with emphasis on both “Voter” and “Informed”. Come learn about the amendments and what they mean for your future and the future of Texas. This is not a political meeting but rather an informational meeting.
