I am in the Portland, Or area and found this article and petition looking for information on how things are going in our Senate. I know Obama signed Dec 14th for the executive order to allow INTERPOL International Police Force to take control of the US. I saw no one bat an eye to that. The de population agenda is also a part of this and waking up means people need to know this too….I already lost a grandson to force swine flu shots this Oct. 4th 2009. Mass genocide has already begun where they can make excuses as always such as Africa and the 16,000 children they are experimenting with Malaryia shots on….why, they have a natural herb cure for that/ but this will kill more of them. How can we get this petition against the Copenhagen Treaty throughout the US and fast ? Can you connect this to all US TEA PARTYS, GLENN BECKS AND OTHER GROUPS ?

We the People Still Have the Power

Americans can be pandered to with debates on C-SPAN or by watchdogs in the press. Political strategists can assure us the next election will secure our future. Meanwhile, the political class has learned to manipulate the average voter and bureaucrats have deeply imbedded control over our government.

Yet our founders envisioned even this occurrence and created a mechanism for the people and the States to reassert control over an overpowering federal government.

Article V of the Constitution states: “Congress … on the application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, …” But what should our State legislatures seek to amend?

The only way to stop the wasteful spending, and its eventual debilitating taxation, is to starve the government machine. To do this, we need a Constitutional Amendment to insure that:

    1. Except in time of declared war against a foreign enemy, the federal government shall balance its budget. This budget shall include all cash expenditures and cash revenues for the federal government and all of its dependent agencies. Further, the total cash expenditures of the federal government shall not exceed eighteen percent (18%) of the prior year’s gross domestic product.

    2. Included in the budget’s cash expenditures will be an annual payment to retire the national debt. This payment will be not less than 3% of the principal amount of the prior year’s national debt.

    3. Any increase in taxes, fees, or other sources of revenue shall require a 2/3 vote of each chamber of Congress. All tax rates and fees as of January 1, 2010 will be re-established and be considered the baseline for any future changes.

    4. No unfunded mandates or requirements shall be placed on state or local governments. The costs of all federal laws must be paid by the federal government and be included in the annual balanced budget.

Should the people decide they wish to spend more on certain items, they can petition their State or Local governments. Clearly, we cannot trust politicians. Unless specifically controlled, they will continue to use our money to buy votes for their own re-election. Encourage your state legislature to reassert its authority: call for a constitutional convention and pass these controls.

    Please share with others.

The left is afraid. They know their days are numbered. The radicals are stooping to Saul Alinsky’s handbook for radicals when they attack and spread lies about not only Tea Party members but conservatives in general. If you have been to Tea Pary as I have tell your story. Did you see racism? Did you see violence? I only saw folk that love this country. We must stand up to the lies. We MUST demand the truth and speak without fear but most of all NEVER NEVER fall into the trap of violence that would give the radicals a thrill. I have signed the “pledge of Nonviolence. This is the same pledge Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. required of the folk involved in the civil right movement. Read the true history of the civil right marches. You will find these people to be peaceful. The radicals and a liberal press went to extremes to makes these folks appear violent. Is this not the same tactic we see from the left and the main stream media. I sincerely hope you will share this link with fellow like-minded Patriots who simply love this great Republic.

The following bill, HR 2499 is a progressive attempt to dilute the vote. If you oppose this bill you will be seen as racist. They call this bill non-binding. If you believe that you should research The Tennessee Plan. This is another step towards “fundamentally changing America”. This “non-binding” vote is scheduled for tomorrow! If you are opposed please your representative. I have included a link.

Cap and Tax is creeping in under a new name. The new name with it’s patriotic logo is now being masquerading as American Power Act. It is being pushed by John Kerry and the chameleon Joe Lieberman. It is still a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

This is still an attempt at government intrusion into our lives and yet another tool to kill jobs and destroy our economy.

I’m still having trouble with how CO2 can be a bad thing when all plant life depends upon it to thrive! In turn plants provide O2 for our survival. Did these people skip school the day that was taught in biology!

Please call your Senator. Call the white house. Demand that this bill be killed or they loose their jobs.

    Hi
My family feels that in today’s economy the only insurance we can’t live with out, is food storage. I have attached some helpful information for individuals of your group that might be considering food storage for their family.
    Thank you
